Description
Protect your CGM sensor with CureTape Sensor Patches. The Classic range comes in vibrant colours that make your sensor stand out, made from the same high-quality, hypoallergenic cotton as CureTape Classic. That means the patches are skin-friendly, comfortable and securely adhesive, keeping your sensor in place for several days.
These sensor patches offer a universal fit for Freestyle Libre, Medtronic Guardian and other common sensors, helping to prolong sensor life. Produced in our ISO-certified factory in South Korea, they meet EU MDR regulations and are trusted by diabetes professionals.
How to Apply Your Sensor Patch
- Remove backing paper #1 — carefully peel off the paper labelled 1, leaving the middle paper in place.
- Position the patch — centre it directly over your sensor and press gently to hold it in place.
- Attach the first quarter — press from the centre outward onto the skin, so a quarter of the patch is now fixed.
- Remove backing paper #2 — carefully peel off the paper on the opposite side.
- Secure the second quarter — again press from the centre outward onto the skin.
- Repeat for the remaining sides if needed, making sure the patch lies smooth and fully adhered without wrinkles.

Tips for Applying Sensor Patches:
- Make sure the skin is completely clean and dry before applying — remove any lotion, oil, sweat or dirt.
- For best results, apply the patch one to two hours before exercising or showering.
- Trim any excess body hair to improve adhesion and comfort.
- After fitting a new sensor, wait and confirm it’s working properly before applying the patch.
- Avoid touching the adhesive surface, to keep it as sticky as possible.
- Once applied, gently rub around the edges to activate the adhesive and secure the hold.
- If the edges start to lift, carefully trim them with scissors to stop the patch peeling off completely.
- The patch is water-resistant — after showering, swimming or bathing, gently pat it dry with a towel and avoid using a hairdryer.
- If itching, irritation or pain occurs, remove the patch immediately.
The diabetes sensor patches are also well suited to children, letting them move freely, safely and comfortably with a fun, colourful design and no risk of their sensor coming loose. The patch fits easily over a Freestyle Libre, Medtronic Guardian, Dexcom G6 or any sensor of similar size. CureTape Sensor Patches Art are produced using a unique printing process where the dye is fully absorbed into the fibres rather than sitting on top, so the cotton stays smooth, elastic and comfortable on the skin.
Please note: although the adhesive layer is hypoallergenic, it may not suit every skin type, and some users may still experience a reaction. If itching, pain or irritation occurs, remove the patch immediately.
